• Hispanic Heritage Festivities This Week!

  Hello parents, student, and friends!

  This week we'll be celebrating the end of Hispanic Heritage Month with a few events and activites happening at the school. Below is a list of what's planned! To current Creators Academy students, please make sure you join in the fun! 🙌

  • 10/10 - Empanadas and Flags
    • Students will be using flag templates to create banners that can be put up around the school later in the week.
  • 10/14 - Movie and Snacks
    • During lunch, students will be watching either Coco or Encanto.
    • We will also be having a Snack Bar that will have snacks from multiple different Hispanic cultures. 
      • Tostilocos Toppings - Chamoy, Tajin, Limones 
      • Chips - Hot Cheetos, Chicharrónes, Takis, Tortilla Chips
      • Salsa and Guac
      • Pan Dulce and Other Sweets
      • Candies
  • 10/15 - Dance Lesson
    • The schools Dance Teacher Ms. Castillo will be teaching a dance class inspired by Hispanic music during both lunches featuring multiple styles of dance including:
      • Merengue
      • Salsa
      • Bomba
      • Zumba
    • This is also the day students will be hanging up the banners they created for display!

• End of Year Device Return

  Hello Parents and Students!
  
  This is Mr. Collado, the schools Technology Support Specialist. Congratulations to all of you finishing off the school year strong! 
  
  As kids come in to pick up their report cards, transcript, and other important documentation, we ask for all students to please bring with them any device that has been assigned to them during the school year. This is necessary so that we can properly inventory and perform maintance on devices.
  
  If you are attending summer school and need a device, you will be able to sign out for one at the beginning of the summer semester.
  
  Our Parent Coordinator, Ms Scott, will be following up later today with some more details on what to expect for tomorrow.
