BECOME A UAMA PARTNER
UAMA’s unique arts programs and events depend on our partnerships with cultural institutions, businesses, and individuals. There are many ways to partner with our school, including but not limited to:
-
Extended Studio and After Hours Studio
Teach, sponsor, or provide special events, opportunities, or materials to an intensive arts course. Work with UAMA teachers to integrate the arts into academic classes. Extended Studio classes are taught by professional artists during the school day, while After Hours Studio courses are available to select students after school.
-
Field trips and special events
Invite UAMA students to your organization, or come to UAMA, for a show, tour, or meet-and-greet. Students report that their most meaningful experiences have involved face-to-face interaction with arts professionals and behind-the-scenes exposure to their workplaces and shows. Studies demonstrate that if young people are exposed to arts organizations through education programs, they are likely to keep coming back as adults.
-
Performance, exhibition, or recording opportunities for UAMA students
Book our experienced performing arts ensembles for your events or venues. Exhibit our visual arts students' compelling new work. Help students record and promote their art to a larger public. Visit our Student Work page to see examples.
-
Internships and Mentorships
Give your employees valuable community involvement experiences volunteering with young people as mentors. Employ dedicated and enthusiastic UAMA students as high school interns. Trained in the business as well as the creative side of the arts, our students have worked with professional artists and organizations to produce events, design products, and start their own entrepreneurial ventures.
-
College programming
Invite UAMA students to visit your campus, meet undergraduate students, and learn about your admissions process. Participate in UAMA college panels. Support students in the college application process through providing programming such as SAT preparation, tutoring, or essay-writing.
-
Space or in-kind donations
Deepen your ties to the local community by donating food or supplies for a program or show. Hosting a UAMA event can bring both exposure and talent to your organization.
